HUE TO HOI AN MOTORBIKE TOUR ITINERARY
Hue – Aluoi – Prao
Morning: Meet your motorbike driver outside your hotel in Hue and settle onto the bike with your luggage.
Head out of Hue on highway 49 to rural Aluoi district. Surrounded by jungle, stop at the top of Par Le for a refreshing dip in a beautifully clear stream fed by a waterfall.
Afternoon: After lunch in Aluoi town, spend the whole afternoon on the legendary Ho Chi Minh Trail.
This road cutting through the mountains and countryside from North to South was an important transport route during the Vietnam-American War.
Feel free and relaxed on the back of the bike, taking in the beautiful landscapes and amazing views from the road.
Everywhere you go the local people are always smiling and welcome because they are happy to see foreign tourists.
Head off the highway in the early evening to make your way to your overnight homestay in Prao mountain town.
Prao – Hoi An
Morning: Rise early with the sounds of the village waking and enjoy a simple breakfast at your homestay.
We continue 52km to Thanh My on the Ho Chi Minh Trail, where we’ll enjoy lunch at a local restaurant.
Afternoon: In the afternoon you’ll make your way over the top of the spectacular Hai Van Pass.
500m above sea level and 20km long, this route crossing Bach Ma Mountain is one of the most iconic motorbike journeys in Vietnam. Enjoy the incredible views looking down the winding road to the glittering sea and Danang City beyond.
After passing Danang, stop by Marble Mountain to explore the beautiful caves temples hidden in the mountain.
Head back onto the bike for the final stretch along the coast and then into Hoi An Ancient Town.
