Morning: Start your trip early with a hotel pick up in Hanoi’s Old Quarter to make the 100km journey to Ninh Binh. On the way, relax and enjoy the beauty of the rural Vietnamese countryside.

On arrival, your guide will take you through Hoa Lu – the Ancient Royal capital of Viet Nam. Visit the 10th century Dinh king temple and Le king temple, learning the heroic histories of these two Kings in the Chinese Wars.

After your Hoa Lu tour, you will head to Ninh Binh’s famous Mua Caves. Explore inside the caves and then walk up to 500 steps for panoramic views of Tam Coc!

Lunch: Enjoy a buffet lunch at one of Ninh Binh’s mots beautiful resorts, overlooking the water.

Afternoon: After lunch, head to Tam Coc river and step into a rowboat to explore the area. Pass between the karst mountains, past rice paddies and through three enormous caves whose stalactite reach down towards the water. It takes approximately two hours to slowly make your way along the peaceful river, so you should sit back and relax and take it all in.

This is also a perfect place for bike riding, so swap the boat for a bicycle and peddle between the rice fields and small villages to soak in more of Ninh Binh’s rural beauty.

Before heading back to Hanoi for the evening, enjoy a sunset drink back at the resort with a chance to take a swim to cool off after your long day sightseeing.
