Morning: Our driver and guide will pick you up at your hotel early to driver 110km from Sapa to Bac Ha.

Arrive around 10:30 am and begin your wander through the colourful stalls and shops of this bustling local weekend market. Along the way, your guide will encourage you to chat to the local people and act as your translator. You may be rewarded with a try of the local specialty of fermented sticky rice liquor!

Pay a visit to see the unique livestock trade on the hill above the market, where horses, buffaloes, pigs, and goats are bought and sold!

Lunch: Have a traditional Vietnamese lunch within Bac Ha Market, before heading out to visit one of the nearby villages. Here you will see the H’mong King’s house known as “Hoang A Tuong”, which was actually built by the French in colonial times and re-built by the Chinese in 1920.

Afternoon: Around 3 pm, it will be time to board the minivan to head back to Sapa Town.
