Morning: Our guide will come to your hotel to pick you up at 8 in the morning to take you to the jeep, passing outside the busy city into the countryside.

A couple of hours later you’ll arrive in Hong Son Area, surrounded by limestone Karsts, caves and rice fields. Take a break and enjoy our local herbal tea to recharge.

Meet your guide and driver for the day, hop in the jeep and make yourself comfortable!

Our professional driver will drive you towards the historic Ho Chi Minh trail, past picturesque Hong Son Lake which is surrounded by traditional houses, vegetable fields and fish and duck farms.

Along the way, listen to the historic story of the Ho Chi Minh trail and its significance during the war.

Your first stop is the mysterious Tiger Cave which you’ll reach via the Monkey Bridge. Vietnam is full of these limestone caves; you cannot leave Vietnam without visiting at least one!

Lunch: Have lunch around 12:30 in Soi village where you can explore the dragon fruit garden, this is actually the largest dragon fruit farm in the area!

Continue the jeep tour visiting one of the many flooded fields where rice is grown.

Afternoon: You’ll then visit Incense Cave where you’ll get the chance to swim in the fresh-water lake inside the cave. Enjoy a cold drink and a snack here and dry off before getting back in the jeep.

The next stop is Cong Ro local market. Browse the stalls selling all kinds of local produce, such as vegetables, fish, chickens, ducks and home-grown fruits like mango, guava, mangosteen, pear, orange, Vietnamese grapefruit and papaya.

Our guide will invite you to try the delicious Nem, Vietnamese spring rolls. Prepared by a lovely lady from Hong Son, you’ll experience a taste of rural life here.

Your final stop of the day is in a big open field where you’ll meet the local children just out of school to fly kites together!

Return to the bus to travel back to Hanoi, arriving around 8 pm at your hotel.
