A series of poetic and tourist landmarks of Vietnam have appeared in the 2022 World Travel Awards – World Travel Awards 2022 nomination table. This year, along with Ho Chi Minh city and Hue, 3 poetic destinations including Cuc Phuong National Park, Moc Chau, and Hoi An also entered this nomination. In particular, Cuc Phuong National Park is an excellent place for outdoor picnics. Let’s explore the newest poetic landmarks nominated for World Tourism Awards – Asia and Oceania.
Cuc Phuong National Park is Vietnam’s first national forest
Cuc Phuong National Park covers around 25,000 hectares and was Vietnam’s first national forest. Cuc Phuong National Park is home to magnificent tropical rainforests with vibrant and diverse flora and wildlife all year. Many endangered plant and animal species have been identified and maintained here, with the black and white langur serving as the forest’s icon.
Cuc Phuong woodland includes numerous old trees and attractive birds… and is a wonderful area for outdoor picnics. Cuc Phuong National Park is best visited between December and May, when the weather in the jungle is particularly cold.
Coming to Cuc Phuong forest, you can ride a bike to feel more comfortable; the car can run deep into the forest. The direction is clear, so you don’t need to worry about getting lost.
You should avoid going in the rainy season because the slippery road is full of mosquitoes, and squeezing will affect your experience. Cuc Phuong Forest is one of two places in the North to be nominated for the World Travel Awards (WTA) – the world’s leading award in the tourism industry held annually since 1993 by Mr. Graham Cooke – Chairman of the World Travel Group and founder. The award recognizes, rewards, and honors outstanding names in all sectors of the global tourism industry.
*Mr. Graham Cooke – President of the World Travel Group and founder of the World Travel Awards, is a world-renowned award in the field of tourism, which is considered the Oscar of world tourism.

Moc Chau Plateau – place for nature conservation and cultural identity
Moc Chau Plateau is at an altitude of 1,050 meter above sea level, known for its green-covered plateaus and local specialties such as tea and plums. Moc Chau is a vast mountainous district of Son La province, about 200 km west of Hanoi, which is a great place when you are planning to visit. This is where about 3,000 hectares of tea are grown thanks to the cool climate.
There are many exciting activities for your whole trip. Visit the most famous tea hills in Vietnam. Take a photo of the flower field in full bloom. See the scenery from the vantage points on the track, such as Pha Luong and Ta Xua—Visiting Dai Yen waterfall. Drive motorbikes or bicycles through the pine forest.
The area has beautiful traditional villages of Vietnamese mountain tribes and is mainly known for its many beautiful flowers, from plum blossoms to peach blossoms. Moc Chau Plateau was nominated for the 2022 World Travel Awards by Tam Company (the organizer and organizer of the 2022 World Travel Awards – Region: Asia & Oceania in Vietnam); this place still retains the identity of the northern highlands of Vietnam. Activities with typical cultural customs or natural landscapes here have not been commercialized.

Hoi An Ancient Town – old town identity of Vietnam
Hoi An Ancient Town is an exciting place for visitors to spend a few days sailing on the river to see the houses of mustard yellow merchants and the beaches a few kilometers away.
The old town is wonderfully preserved due to the backfill of the Thu Bon River in the 19th century, which ended its importance as a trading post, but helped Hoi An escape from modern development, remaining original from its birth.
The old town is surprisingly large and can attract many visitors without losing its poetic atmosphere. Hoi An is known for its diverse and outstanding cuisine: the heritage of many ethnic groups, including Japanese, Chinese, and Portuguese, that have lived or traded here.
To Hoi An, in addition to visiting the landscapes and ancient houses that are still preserved in the old Hoai street style, visitors also enjoy visiting the local market to be able to buy fresh food ingredients and select dishes such as fresh spring rolls, crispy cakes, beef noodles and heirloom pho, enjoy the village atmosphere and watch the small basket boats glide on the estuary creeks to the sea, or leisurely bike on the coconut-lined country roads.
The 2022 World Travel Awards – Region: Asia & Oceania is scheduled for September 7, 2022. In particular, the award ceremony will be simultaneously awarded in NFT format and stored and displayed forever on kitego.com.
