Morning: Airport Pick-up & Hotel Transfer
Welcome to Hanoi! Upon your arrival at the airport, our private car will warmly greet you and transfer you directly to your hotel. Take some time to rest and freshen up before starting your city exploration.
01:30 PM: Temple of Literature
Get picked up from your hotel to begin your exciting half-day city tour. Your first stop is the magnificent Temple of Literature. Established in the 11th century, this peaceful and historic site is proudly known as the first university of Vietnam.
03:15 PM: Hoa Lo Prison Museum & Train Street
Leave for the famous Hoa Lo Prison Museum. Originally used by French colonists in Indochina for political prisoners, and later known to American POWs as the “Hanoi Hilton” during the Vietnam War, this museum offers a profound glimpse into the country’s history. Afterward, experience the unique local lifestyle by visiting the iconic Train Street, a bustling and highly photogenic spot right in the heart of the city.
04:15 – 04:30 PM: Tour Finishes
Your half-day city tour concludes, and you will be dropped off at the meeting point. You now have free time to enjoy dinner, relax, or continue exploring the charming streets of Hanoi’s Old Quarter at your own pace.
07:00 – 07:50 AM: Hotel Pick-up
Our friendly tour guide and driver will pick you up from your hotel in the Hanoi Old Quarter to begin the scenic journey to Ninh Binh province.
09:15 AM: Short Break
Take a quick 15-20 minute rest stop along the way to stretch your legs, use the facilities, or grab a light snack before continuing the trip.
10:30 AM: Explore Hoa Lu Ancient Capital
Step back in time as you arrive at Hoa Lu, the ancient capital of Vietnam (from 968 to 1010). Visit the historic temples dedicated to King Dinh and King Le to delve into the fascinating history of the Dinh, Le, and Ly dynasties.
11:15 – 11:45 AM: Countryside Cycling & Relaxation
Hop on a bicycle for a fun 30-minute ride to discover the peaceful daily life of the local people. If you prefer to rest, you can stay back at the restaurant to take in the stunning views of the surrounding lakes and valleys, or even enjoy a refreshing swim in the pool (during summer time).
01:15 – 01:30 PM: Trang An Scenic Boat Ride
Experience the breathtaking beauty of Trang An, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Enjoy a relaxing 1.5-hour boat ride gliding through its mesmerizing tunnel cave system and spectacular landscapes—famous for being featured in the Hollywood blockbuster Kong: Skull Island.
03:30 PM: Conquer Mua Cave (Hang Múa)
Continue your adventure with a visit to Mua Cave. Challenge yourself to climb the 500 stone steps to the peak of Ngoa Long Mountain, where you will be rewarded with a spectacular, panoramic view of the Tam Coc valley and the city below.
04:30 – 05:00 PM: Return Journey
Board the bus and begin your comfortable transfer back to Hanoi.
07:00 – 07:30 PM: Arrive in Hanoi
Our driver will drop you off safely at your hotel in the Old Quarter, wrapping up an amazing day of exploration in Ninh Binh.
08:00 – 08:30 AM: Hotel Pick-up
Our car and tour guide will pick you up from your hotel to begin the journey to Tuan Chau Island in Ha Long City. Enjoy a smooth ride via the new expressway with a short rest stop along the way to stretch your legs.
12:00 PM: Board the Cruise & Lunch
Arrive at Tuan Chau Harbor, step aboard your cruise, and receive a warm welcome. After a brief safety introduction, embark on a magnificent 5-hour journey through Ha Long Bay’s emerald waters. Enjoy a delicious Vietnamese lunch served onboard while gliding past thousands of limestone islands, admiring fascinating rock formations like Fighting Cocks Islet and Thumb Islet.
01:45 PM: Discover Bo Hon Archipelago
Arrive at the Bo Hon Archipelago for an afternoon of unforgettable exploration:
Surprising Cave (Sung Sot Cave): Step inside and marvel at the impressive stalactites and stalagmites uniquely shaped like sea creatures.
Luon Cave: Glide through a tranquil lagoon surrounded by towering cliffs with a fun kayaking or traditional bamboo boat experience.
Titop Island: Relax on the stunning crescent-shaped sandy beach, or challenge yourself to climb to the top of Titov Peak for a breathtaking 360° panoramic view of Ha Long Bay.
04:30 PM: Sunset Journey Back

06:00 PM: Disembark & Return to Hanoi
Disembark at the harbor and begin your comfortable transfer back to Hanoi via the expressway.
08:00 PM: Arrive in Hanoi
Our driver will safely drop you off at your hotel in the Old Quarter. End of an incredible day out on the bay!

Booking and Payment Policies
- The customer receives the payment confirmation receipt via email within 15 minutes of successful booking.
- The confirmation voucher will be released via email in less than 48 hours after customers making deposit.
- To confirm the booking, 30% deposit of total tour cose will be required (not applied for prepaid service such as flight tickets, train tickets, early bird rate, etc). The remaining balance will need to be paid on the starting day of the tour.
Cancellation Policies
- If cancellation are made 15 days before the date of travel then 50.0% of deposit will be charged as cancellation fees.
- If cancellation are made 7 days to 15 days before the date of travel then 75.0% of deposit will be charged as cancellation fees.
- If cancellation are made 0 days to 7 days before the date of travel then 100.0% of deposit will be charged as cancellation fees.
Payment Terms Policies
- 100.0% of total tour cost will have to be paid 0 days before the date of travel.
Changing tour program and refund policies
- After the final programs were confirmed from both sides, Lily’s Travel has the right to refuse all the change from the customers.
- To support for the customers, we will apply the policy below:
If the changes are made 15 days before travel date, Lily’s travel will charge no changing fee and send back the customers the final itinerary - If the changes are made less than 15 days before the travel date, Lily’s Travel has the right to refuse to change. Customers will need to pay the extra for any fees that caused by these changes.
