8:30 – 8:45: Pick up at your hotels in Hanoi Old Quarter. Then transfer to Tuan Chau wharf on the new highway
10:30 – 11:00: Stopover for refreshment at Pearl store, pearl breeding place about 20 minutes.
11:30 – 12:00: Arrive at Tuan Chau harbour.
12:30 – 13:00: Transfer to Cruises. Check in your cabin.
13:30: Enjoy a nice buffet lunch at our restaurant while the cruise goes ahead to Halong Bay.
15:00 – 16:45: Continue to explore Halong by visiting Pearl Farm village. Here, you can witness the process of making pearl, buy products from pure pearl, participate in kayaking, a must-try sport activity in Halong. After that, visit Titov Island. Here, you will have time to climb up to the peak of Titov Island, admire the beautiful panorama view of Halong Bay or swim, take pictures, play on the sea.
18:00: Enjoy Sun Set party with fruits and snacks on Sky Bar. Option: Happy Hour (Buy 2 get 1 free). Massage service is available.
18:30: Join cooking demonstration: How to make Vietnamese spring rolls – traditional Vietnamese food.
19:30: Enjoy European set-menu dinner on the restaurant on-board.
21:00: Join the Squid Fishing activity. Free time on the boat.
6:30: Practice Tai Chi class. Tea and coffee are served.
6:45 – 7:30: Light breakfast is served.
7:30: Visit Sung Sot cave.
09:30: Check – out time on the board.
09:45 – 10:30: Enjoy buffet brunch while the cruise transfer to the Tuan Chau Wharf.
10:45 – 11:00: Disembark to Tuan Chau Wharf.
12:00 – 15:00: Return to Ha Noi. Drop off at your hotel in Hanoi old quarter.
4:00 – 5:00: Arrive in Sapa town. You can stay on the bus till 6:00 or There are some coffee shops so you can take a rest around.
6:00 – 6:30: Our local guides will come to ask for your name and pick you up at the bus stop where you were dropped off. Our guide takes you to a restaurant to have breakfast with the group.
08:30: Start the day with a private car and a private guide to visit Cat Cat village, the home of the Black Hmong people.
You will have a trek through a beautiful landscape surrounded by rice paddy terraces and mountains covered by rainforests under the protection of Hoang Lien National Park. Also, you will hear about the lifestyle and traditions of Back Hmong and Giay minorities.
Following a road going downhill to Cat Cat village, you will stop by a waterfall and a hydroelectric station for a while before continuing the trek on a dirt trail through rice paddy terraces. You will also enjoy spectacular scenery while walking along a narrow river. You eventually arrive in Y Linh Ho village of the Black Hmong minority.
This trek also offers some stunning views of a picturesque waterfall and the vestige of a hydroelectric power station that was built in the early 20th century.
12:00: Our car will take you back to Sapa town to have lunch. Then take you to Fansipan cable car station.
You can reach Fansipan peak by cable car tickets in 2 ways The cable car journey is 15 minutes instead of 3-day climbing two to four days as before. The journey is not too long, but it is enough for visitors to admire the beautiful natural landscape at an altitude of thousands of meters. It is the primitive forest Hoang Lien Son, poetic Muong Hoa, the magnificent Hoang Lien Son mountain range, etc.
The higher you go, the more clouds you see. The temperature will also decrease and the wind can make your cable swing a little. Please don’t be afraid. It is just a little challenge for your courage!
After arriving at the station, visitors will take about 20 – 30 minutes to climb 600 more ladders to reach the top of Fansipan peak, and touch the landmark in the roof of Indochina. Besides the Fansipan peak, you can also visit the beautiful Fansipan Legend with Bamboo Garden, Bao An Thien Tu, Bich Van Thien, restaurant, shopping center, etc.
16:00: Get back to Sapa town.
We begin the day with a 3km trek through breathtaking landscape to the village of Suoi Ho, home to Hmong minority. From here you can enjoy views over endless rice terraces, and you will have the opportunity to see some of the animals used by the locals.
Continuing on to Matra village you will come across the impressive ruins of a church dating back to the French occupation in the early 1900s. Take a minute to explore this intriguing sight and take some photos.
Trekking to the village of Ta Phin you will be able to meet both Black Hmong and Red Dao minorities. The Red Dao are known for their expertise in herbal medicine as well as usage of plants from the land to treat many illnesses. Your guide will be able to introduce you to some Red Dao women who can tell you more about their many remedies.
A Red Dao herbal medicine bath can be arranged for you to experience. Transport will be provided from Ta Phin back to Sapa.

10:30: Arrive in Hue City. Visit the Tomb of Minh Mang King or Khai Dinh king – Romance and lyricism reflect the life of the king of talent, but the situation in the country is intricate.
11:40: Have lunch at a restaurant with local foods.
12:30: Visit the Imperial Citadel (the Palace of 13 Nguyen’s Kings, the last feudal dynasty of Viet Nam: Ngo Mon Gate, Thai Hoa Palace, The Temple, Hien Lam Pavilion, Nine Urns), having experiences with the virtual 3D scanning concept “Finding the Lost Palace.”
15:00: Visit Thien Mu Pagoda, which was built in the early XVII century. Shopping at Dong Ba Market (optional)
Back to Da Nang city at 5pm and get drop off at your hotel in the city
Located 30 km west of Da Nang at an altitude of 1,487m above sea level, Ba Na Hills is considered to be the “green lung” of Central Vietnam and the “pearl of climate” of Vietnam. Follow the paths of Ba Na, feel four seasons in a day, walk in the ecstatic clouds to the singing of birds, and make the visitors feel like they are in a wonderland.

9:00: Arrive at the cable car station Suoi Mo, up the cable car route that achieves four world records.
9:30: Freedom check-in the 150-meter long “Golden Bridge,” supported by huge hands. Visit the Linh Ung pagoda and admire the 27m high Buddha statue in Loc Uyen Garden, Quan Am Cac. Continue to use the second cable car route to go to the top of Ba Na.

My Son sanctuary of the former Cham Kingdom (the ruins of the former Cham Capital in the 4th century), Vietnam’s most evocative Cham site recently named by UNESCO as a World Heritage site. The Cham people considered this area, in the shadow of Cat’s Tooth Peak, the domain of the gods, and it served as the religious and intellectual center of the culture. They inhabited the area continuously from the late fourth century A.D. until the 13th century. Excavations reveal kings’ tombs that date back to the fourth century.

As I be arriving to Hanoi towards the end of April, I had a great discussion with Emma and Lucy on my 5 days in Vietnam travel plan.
