8 Days – Northwest Journey – From Fansipan Peak to Ha Giang’s Stone Plateau

You will arrive Ha Noi city. When you finish clearance procedure, please go out to pillar B.10, our driver will wait there for you with your name on sign. 

You will be warmly welcomed by driver. Then our car will lead you from the airport to your hotel. 

Free time for leisure to enjoy the Old Quarter to enjoy the bustling local life. This bustling area of narrow streets and alleys is home to literally thousands of small businesses and shopkeepers.

It’s a great place to explore with plenty of photo opportunities all around you.

11:30 for Lunch option

You will really fall in love with egg coffee. Because it will make drool with its strong taste of natural coffee bitterness and the frothy texture of egg yolk mixture.

Tour finishes. Drop off at our office, you could take a shower here before getting overnight bus

 to Sapa at 22:00.

4-5AM: Arrive in Sapa town. You can stay on the bus till 6AM or There are some coffee shops so you can take a rest around.

6 – 6h30 AM: Our local guides will come to ask for your name and pick you up at the bus stop where you were dropped off. Our guide takes you to a restaurant to have breakfast with the group.  

9AM- 12AM: Trekking along the local and less crowded way with mountains, fields, streams, visiting Sa Seng Village, the untouched village by the tourists, to see their local daily life in the field, like feeding buffalo, horse, pig…, and their plant fields of Corn or Tea. You also pass a Waterfall where you can take pictures or swim here if the weather is not too cold.

12AM- 1PM: Lunch in a local restaurant in the Green Valley.

1PM- 5PM: We will walk further to other parts of the mountain, where you can run on the field, hike up to the hill, enjoy swimming in our little waterfall, pass through streams, see the Grandfather making the ear Ring by himself. Totally first day you will trek for about 13-16 km.

Arrive the homestay, you have a chance to meet the local families, play with kids, take photos of the beautiful view of the mountain in front of our homestay.

Enjoy cooking with the Family.

7PM: Dinner and enjoy happy hour with the whole group with games and “happy water” (our local guiders will offer you a lot of local wine and it is called “happy water”).

7:30 AM. You will have home-cooked breakfast provided by Mao’s family.

8:30 AM. Finish breakfast, we will start trekking into different fields which lead to our mysterious Bamboo Forest.

11:00 AM. Take your shoes off, we will go to the field.

It is the most fun and interesting part as you feel like a Farmer to go directly to the soil, feel the earth, smell the rice, and touch the leaves.

You will pass through Su Pan village, see the local life like Schools, Church, Traditional Houses.

12:30 PM. Have lunch in a local restaurant, enjoy the mountain view with rice fields in the restaurant.

Finish the Discovery Day in the Bus Office.

15:00: Get on cabin bus or Limousine bus to Ha Giang, drop off at our Homestay in Ha giang at around 21:00

On this day we will drive 155 km and have to walk around 1 hour. On the whole trip you can meet Mong people and see their lifestyle. On the way we have enough time to stop at wonderful places to take a photo or just enjoy the landscape.

The heaven’s Gate is 1500m high and over the clouds. The view is amazing. In Quan Ba you can see the famous twin mountains. After that we will have lunch in a small restaurant in Yen Minh. 

Drive down Ha Giang stop 15 km west from Dong Van to visit the Vuong palace which the Mong people built for their own King.

At least we will reach Dong Van at 5pm. You will stay in a Hotel and have dinner. Dong Van is a quiet village which is nice to walk around.‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬

Quan Ba pass – Yen Minh – Vuong palace

Today we will drive through the Dong Van Geopark. The view is better to drive to the best pass you can visit in Vietnam. The Ma Pi Leng Pass is considered as the “king” of Vietnam’s pass. On the top of this pass begins the 20 km long happiness road, which is handmade by the local people and has a romantic atmosphere. 

In Meo Vac you can see one of the most beautiful landscapes of the country. Mau Due and Du Gia! but we see a lot of terrace rice fields. Local people! We arrived in Du Gia and had lunch in the family of tay minority’s people! we will swimming in the waterfalls of Du Gia Village (if we on time) one of most clean waterfalls in Hà Giang ,Overnight with homestay.

Dong Van – Ma Pi Leng pass – Meo Vac

After breakfast we say goodbye to the beautiful Homestay family. We drive to the waterfall (if the day 2 we have no time to visit) and continue to the Incredible valley view. We take time. It is a really beautiful Culture. You will enjoy it. Back to Ha Giang on the way to lunch.

At 3 pm We will be back in Ha Giang. We take you out to a homestay and take a shower.

The last day of our trip we organize the bus to Ha Noi for you.

Du Gia waterfall – Bac Me

Breakfast is served at hotel.

Our driver will come to your hotel before your flight 3 hours, then he will take you to the airport. 

Fly back.
