Itinerary

Take the bus from Hanoi to Ha Giang. You will arrive in Ha Giang City around 03:00–04:00 AM. We will pick you up and transfer you to the hostel where you can take a shower, rest, and freshen up. At 08:30 AM, start your journey to the Dong Van Karst Plateau.

08:30 – Have breakfast, then begin the Ha Giang Loop adventure.
Check in at: KM0 in Ha Giang City – Bac Sum Pass – Quan Ba Heaven Gate. Stop to admire the Quan Ba Twin Mountains and Tam Son Town.

12:30 – After passing Can Ty Pass, stop to check in at several beautiful spots such as the Lonely Tree and Van Chai Cliff, then enjoy lunch in Yen Minh Town.

13:30 – Continue towards Dong Van, checking in at Tham Ma Pass, Pho Cao Village, and Sung La Valley. Visit Lung Cam Cultural Village, rich in H’Mong ethnic identity, explore Pao’s House, Tam Giac Mach Flower Field, and the Moon Rock Field in Sa Phin Village.

16:30 – Visit the Vuong Family Mansion (Palace of the H’Mong King). Here, you can truly appreciate the history, life, and culture of the H’Mong people. In the late afternoon, under the golden sunset, experience the fascinating blend of H’Mong, French, and Chinese architectural influences.

08:30 – After breakfast, begin your journey along the legendary Happiness Road, crossing the majestic Ma Pi Leng Pass and admiring the breathtaking Nho Que River.

Check in at several iconic spots: Ma Pi Leng Monument, the thrilling Death’s Snout and Dinosaur Spine Road, and enjoy a short walk along the Sky Path, where you can take in the panoramic view of the valley below. Stop at various scenic viewpoints along the top of the pass for stunning photo opportunities.

Take a boat trip on the Nho Que River to witness the magnificent Tu San Canyon – the deepest canyon in Southeast Asia and a natural masterpiece found only in Ha Giang.

12:30 – Have lunch in Meo Vac Town, then continue the journey from Meo Vac to Du Gia. The road offers breathtaking scenery with winding mountain passes and endless valleys. On the way, stop at beautiful check-in points such as M Pass, Mau Due, and Lung Ho.

17:00 – Arrive in Du Gia Commune Center and check in at a local homestay in Du Gia Village. In the evening, enjoy a traditional Tay-style dinner and share a toast with locally brewed corn wine, affectionately known as “happy water.”

08:30 – After breakfast, take a walk around the village and enjoy a refreshing swim at Du Gia Waterfall before departing back to Ha Giang City.

On the way, stop to admire and visit several beautiful spots such as Duong Thuong Valley and Lung Tam Weaving Village.
Have lunch in Tam Son Town – Quan Ba, then continue the journey back to Ha Giang City, arriving around 16:00.
Take a shower and rest at the hostel or homestay before boarding the bus back to Hanoi.

16:00 – Limousine bus arrives in Hanoi at 22:00
18:00 – Sleeper bus arrives in Hanoi at 00:00
20:30 – VIP cabin bus arrives in Hanoi at 03:00

Booking and Payment Policies

The customer receives the payment confirmation receipt via email within 15 minutes of successful booking.
The confirmation voucher will be released via email in less than 48 hours after customers making deposit.
To confirm the booking, 30% deposit of total tour cose will be required (not applied for prepaid service such as flight tickets, train tickets, early bird rate, etc). The remaining balance will need to be paid on the starting day of the tour.

Cancellation Policies

If cancellation are made 15 days before the date of travel then 50.0% of deposit will be charged as cancellation fees
If cancellation are made 7 days to 15 days before the date of travel then 75.0% of deposit will be charged as cancellation fees
If cancellation are made 0 days to 7 days before the date of travel then 100.0% of deposit will be charged as cancellation fees.

Payment Terms Policies

100.0% of total tour cost will have to be paid 0 days before the date of travel.

Changing tour program and refund policies

After the final programs were confirmed from both sides, Lily's Travel has the right to refuse all the change from the customers. To support for the customers, we will apply the policy below:
If the changes are made 15 days before travel date, Lily's travel will charge no changing fee and send back the customers the final itinerary
If the changes are made less than 15 days before the travel date, Lily's Travel has the right to refuse to change. Customers will need to pay the extra for any fees that caused by these changes.

As I be arriving to Hanoi towards the end of April, I had a great discussion with Emma and Lucy on my 5 days in Vietnam travel plan. Both ladies ensured that everything will be taken care from airport pick up to my preference in staying on the type of hotel, transport to and from Ha Long bay, cruise ship type, transport from hotel to the airport.

Shout out to Lucy for going above and beyond to ensure everything is in order even though she's back to her hometown and I'm done with the 2D1N tour, and not forgetting answering my question about the trip + random question about Vietnam e.g. tips, food, old quarter location, and the public holidays. I made couple of friends with fellow travelers a ships (solo/friends).
