CAT BA DAY CRUISE ITINERARIES
The bus will pick you up early at your Cat Ba hotel to take you to the harbour to begin your Cat Ba day cruise to Lan Ha Bay.
You’ll head through one of the biggest floating fishing villages in the area and then on to Monkey Island. Take a dip in the clear blue water and enjoy the beach before we take a hike up to the top of the island. Here you’ll have unbeatable views of Lan Ha Bay and the surrounding islands. You’ll also notice how the island got its name – the resident monkeys!
Cruise further through Lan Ha Bay to the edge Ha Long Bay. We’ve found a quiet and beautiful area where the recent King Kong movie was shot. We’ll have lunch on the boat here and then explore the area further on kayaks. Head into the mysterious light and dark cave in the kayak!
Your next stop is Van Boi Beach. Head into the water again for a little snorkelling and enjoy a chilled beer on the deck. If you are feeling adventurous, take a jump from the 4m high boat into the water!
Return to Cat Ba Town in the late afternoon.
