Itinerary

Day 1: Meeting + Trekking + Discover

8:30PM Ready in Lily office for transfer to bus station, then take night bus/train to Sapa

You can come before 20:30PM to take free shower with hot water and free towel and chill and our chilling room.

9AM- 12PM: Trekking along the local and less crowed way with mountains, fields, streams, visiting Sa Seng Village, the untouched village by the tourists, to see their local daily life in the field, like feeding buffalo, horse, pig..., and their plant fields of Corn or Tea. You also pass a Waterfall where you can take pictures or swim here if the weather is not too cold.

12PM- 1PM: Lunch in a local restaurant in the Green Valley.

1PM- 5PM: We will walk further to other parts of the mountain, where you can run on the field, hike up to the hill, enjoy swimming in our little waterfall, pass through streams, see the Grandfather making the ear Ring by himself. Totally first day you will trek for about 13-16 km

Arrive the homestay, you have chance to meet the local families, play with kids, take photos of the beautiful view of the mountain in front of our homestay.

Enjoy cooking with the Family.

7PM: Dinner and enjoy happy hour with the whole group with games and “happy water” (our local guiders will offer you a lot of local wine and it is called “happy water”).

Day 2: Visit Lao Chai + Ta Van Village (10km)

After breakfast, we will start trekking to visit Lao Chai village. You will visit another village of the H’Mong people to get to know about their local house, their traditional cloth making, and clothing dying.

This day is less challenging, but you have a chance to walk on a small trail on the steep mountainside.

Head downhill and relax by a local stream for a local taste lunch before going back to our journey.

In the afternoon, our guide will take you to visit Ta Van, the village of the Dzay people, where you have a chance to get to know the other different ethnic groups in Sapa.

After a great time of experiencing different lifestyles, we will head back to stay in our Homestay in Hau Thao village, stretching out after a 10km trekking day.

Day 3: Bamboo Forest trekking + Lets become a farmer

7:30 AM: You will have home-cooked breakfast provided by Mao’s family.

8:30 AM: Finish breakfast, we will start trekking into different fields which lead to our mysterious Bamboo Forest.

11:00 AM: Let take your shoes off, we will go to the field!!

It is the most fun and interesting part as you feel like a Farmer to go directly to the soil, feel the earth, smell the rice, and touch the leaves.

You will pass through Su Pan village, see the local life like Schools, Church, Traditional Houses

14:00 PM: Have lunch in a local restaurant, enjoy the mountain view with rice field in the restaurant.

Finish the Discovery Day in the Bus Office.

Policies

Booking and Payment Policies

The customer receives the payment confirmation receipt via email within 15 minutes of successful booking.
The confirmation voucher will be released via email in less than 48 hours after customers making deposit.
To confirm the booking, 30% deposit of total tour cost will be required (not applied for prepaid service such as flight tickets, train tickets, early bird rate, etc). The remaining balance will need to be paid on the starting day of the tour.

Cancellation Policies

Cancellation 15 days before the start date: No charge for cancellation and refund of deposit for tour and hotel services (not applicable to air tickets, train tickets, services that must be paid in advance to get an early bird price, and policies of hotels not following Lily's program).
Cancellation from 7-15 days before the start date : 50% of the total cost will be charged for tour and hotel services.
Cancellation within 7 days before the start date: 100% of the total cost will be charged for tour and hotel services.
If hotel and cruise changes due to their own reasons (maintenance, rooms fixed, etc), we will support to find another similar hotel and cruise.

Payment Terms Policies

100.0% of total tour cost will have to be paid 0 days before the date of travel.

Changing tour program and refund policies

After the final programs were confirmed from both sides, Lily's Travel has the right to refuse all the change from the customers. To support for the customers, we will apply the policy below:
If the changes are made 15 days before travel date, Lily's travel will charge no changing fee and send back the customers the final itinerary
If the changes are made less than 15 days before the travel date, Lily's Travel has the right to refuse to change. Customers will need to pay the extra for any fees that caused by these changes.
