How many days do I need for Hoi An and Da Nang together?
If you want to see both cities properly, plan 5 to 6 days total. Here is how I would split it:
- 3 days in Hoi An – enough time to explore the old town, release lanterns, take a cooking class and maybe do a day trip to My Son or the rice fields.
- 2 to 3 days in Da Nang – enough time to visit the Marble Mountains, Son Tra Peninsula (with the giant Lady Buddha), relax on My Khe Beach and see the Golden Bridge.
Hoi An gives you history, charm and lantern-lit nights. Da Nang gives you beaches, mountains and modern comfort. Together, they make a perfect trip.
