14 Days 13 Nights: From Southern Bustle to Northern Serenity

Morning: Visit Ho Chi Minh City

Start the trip visiting Reunification palace which was the residence of the President of South Vietnam until end of the war in April 1975. Continue visit Old Central Post Office….. We then visit the War Remnants Museum.

Return to District 1.

12:00 Lunch at local.

Afternoon: Visit Cu Chi Tunnels

Start 13:00 – END 18:30

Cu Chi Tunnels is a legendary underground system of over 220 km of tunnels, a must-see for both Vietnamese and foreign travelers who are interested in the history of the Vietnam War. The tunnels are now a historical structure of Vietnam and considered a heroic district for the role they played in the resistance to US forces during the Vietnam War.

The tunnels are located approximately 60km from Ho Chi Minh city. Enjoy the scenery along the way, as we pass the lush, endless rice fields and the ducks are water buffaloes swimming in the rivers. You might find it hard to imagine that once the area was almost completely destroyed by bombs and mines from the war, when Cu Chi was a “free target zone “.

Once we arrive, you will get a chance to walk through some of the tunnels, discover the hidden corners and imagine what life was like here for the resistance soldiers. If you like, try to cook with the smokeless stoves used by Vietnamese soldiers to cook during the war. You can even try foods which the soldiers lived on. If you’re feeling brave, or curious, you can even try your hand at shooting at AK-47, one of the guns used during the war.

16:30: Leave Cu Chi Tunnel, get on bus come back Ho Chi Minh.

18:00: Arrive in HO CHI MINH City, drop off at hotel in District 1

Morning Savor your breakfast and start your trip to enjoy:

– 07:30: Tour guide pikup your Hotel. Enjoy the scenic journey along the National Highway bordered by green rice fields. 

– 09:00: Visit Mekongrestop, free time or drinking coffee – Excluded

– 10:00: Visit Vinh Trang Pagoda.

– 11:00: arrive in My Tho. Board a wooden motor boat (20 minutes) . On this boat along the river’s bank, you’ll be passing through natural creeks, see Rach Mieu Bridge and Unicorn, Dragon, Turtle, Phoenix island.

– Arrive Unicorn Island, from there, we’ll take you to a bee farm where you have a chance to taste a tasteful cup of authentic honey tea. After that we walk around quiet villages and watch the life of rural people in Mekong Delta.

– One of  stops during this trip is at a seasonable orchard that has many different types of tasty tropical fruits for your enjoyments. You can enjoy the fruits for free while checking out the folk music that is typical to only the people in Southern Vietnam

– Continue, We are divided into many groups and get on small row boats. During this 15 minutes trip, you’ll witness all kind of interesting transportation modes that local people use to move around, while enjoying the fresh air along the canal and beautiful water coconut tree scenery. Away from the city, that is it all about!

– When you feel it’s enough for the serenity, let’s get back to the large motor boat for something different. You’ll cruise a canal whose 2 long sides are orchards (seasonable orchards). After that, we cruise to a village where the sweat smell coconut candies are in the air. To satisfy your curiosity, we’ll get to a village that has many small shops that make coconut candy and handcrafted items from coconut trees of Mekong Delta. You might learn that those people can amazingly make dozens of useful products out of coconut trees. It is indeed inseparable from the villagers’ life.

– Then get on boats go to restaurant. Now let’s have a lunch the restaurant. After relax or free…

– 15:00: Leave Ben Tre, get on motorized boat. You will return to My Tho, meet the bus and return to HCM City. On the way stop at bamboo shop for shopping and relax…

– 17:30: Arrive Ho Chi Minh City, stop at Ben Thanh market. Tour ends.

Fly to Da Nang , airport pick up by private car; relax at the beach

Located 30 km west of Da Nang at an altitude of 1,487m above sea level, Ba Na Hills is considered to be the “green lung” of Central Vietnam and the “pearl of climate” of Vietnam. Follow the paths of Ba Na, feel four seasons in a day, walk in the ecstatic clouds to the singing of birds, and make the visitors feel like they are in a wonderland. 

7:45-8:15: Pick up at the hotel 

9:00: Arrive at the cable car station Suoi Mo, up the cable car route that achieves four world records.

9:30: Freedom check-in the 150-meter long “Golden Bridge,” supported by huge hands. Visit the Linh Ung pagoda and admire the 27m high Buddha statue in Loc Uyen Garden, Quan Am Cac. Continue to use the second cable car route to go to the top of Ba Na. 

The tour guide will take guests to Fantasy Park and join in adventurous, fun, and modern games such as Love Swing, Skiver Pilot, and Fire Racing Track, bumper car, ghost house…

11:30: Have a lunch buffet at Restaurant.

12:30: Freedom to rest Conquer the Peak of Chua Mountain at a height of 1,487 m. Visit Ba Chua Thuong Ngan Temple. Enjoy the panoramic view of Da Nang City and Da Nang Bay

14:30: Return to cable car station 

16:00: Drop off at the hotel

My Son sanctuary of the former Cham Kingdom (the ruins of the former Cham Capital in the 4th century), Vietnam’s most evocative Cham site recently named by UNESCO as a World Heritage site. The Cham people considered this area, in the shadow of Cat’s Tooth Peak, the domain of the gods, and it served as the religious and intellectual center of the culture. They inhabited the area continuously from the late fourth century A.D. until the 13th century. Excavations reveal kings’ tombs that date back to the fourth century. 

Hoi An Ancient Town is truly the most charming place to stop in central Vietnam. The preservation of 18th-century architecture and the way of life in the old town continues to lure wide eyed visitors. Once you arrive in Hoi An, you will wish you had planned to stay longer. It’s a place that tugs on your sense of peace. It’s safe and easy to explore. In December 1999, Hoi An Ancient Town was officially listed as a World Heritage Site.

07:30: Pick you up at your Hotel in Da Nang, transfer to My Son sanctuary.

09:30: Guests will have the opportunity to explore My Son, and visit the ancient Holy land of Champa Kingdom with mysterious temples from the 17th century.

12:00: Leave My Son for Hoi An Ancient Town.

 Leave My Son by bus and arrive at Hoi An at 13:00. Have lunch at a local restaurant. Visit Hoi An Ancient Town’s attractions such as Bridge Pagoda, Assembly Hall, Old House …

17:00:   Take off guests at the hotel. Tour ends

08:30: Local guide pick up at the hotel.

– Go to market with our chef (about 30 minutes)

– We will have a chance to see and experience the noise as well as directly contact sellers. In addition to this, we will show the ingredients for use in our lesson. 

09:15: – Transfer to Cam Thanh village by car or boat on the way, you can explore the beautiful views of the Vietnamese countryside, and see the water and coconut trees growing together.

– Enjoy your time with basket boat rowing through the coconut jungle forest 

11:00: Enjoy a welcome drink and take a rest at our restaurant, then join the cooking class. Our chef will teach you how to cook some local food. After the lesson, enjoy what you have cooked.

12:20: Return to your hotel. Tour ends.

07:30 – 8:00: Get picked up by our friendly guide then depart for Ninh Binh province.

09:15: Have a short break for 15 – 20 minutes to relax.

10:30: Visit Hoa Lư, ancient capital of Vietnam between 968 and 1010. You have a chance to learn about Vietnamese history in the feudal system under Dinh, Le, and Ly Dynasty.

11:45: Have lunch in the restaurant with a lot of local foods such as goat meat, fish, chicken, fried rice…. Vegetarian foods are always available in the buffet lunch.

13:00: Visit Trang An which was recognized by UNESCO as A World Heritage Site in 2014. Trang An has a wonderful tunnel cave system so Kong’s Movie Group chose this place for the New Version of Kong in 2016 – “Skull Island”. With 2 hours for the boat trip, you will be persuaded by the beauty here.

15:00: Continue the tour for 45 mins – cycling around the village to discover the life of the local people.

15:45: Get back to the bus then leave for Mua Cave (Dancing Cave). Walk up almost 500 steps, you can reach the top of Lying Dragon Mountain & have an amazing panoramic view of Tam Coc from here.

17:00: Get on the bus to return to Hanoi.

19:30: Get dropped off at Hotel in Hanoi.

Arrive in Sapa around 4.am, please wait our tour guide at the bus station 

6:00 – 6:30: Tour guide will come and ask your name, then start the day trip

8:00- 12:00: Trekking along the local and less crowded way with mountains, fields, streams, visiting Sa Seng Village, the untouched village by the tourists, to see their local daily life in the field, like feeding buffalo, horse, pig…, and their plant fields of Corn or Tea. You also pass a Waterfall where you can take pictures or swim here if the weather is not too cold.

12:00- 113:00: Lunch in a local restaurant in the Green Valley.

13:00- 17:00: We will walk further to other parts of the mountain, where you can run on the field, hike up to the hill, enjoy swimming in our little waterfall, pass through streams, see the Grandfather making the ear Ring by himself. Totally first day you will trek for about 13-16 km

Arrive the homestay, you have a chance to meet the local families, play with kids, and take photos of the beautiful view of the mountain in front of our homestay.

Enjoy cooking with the Family.

19:00: Dinner and enjoy happy hour with the whole group with games and “happy water” (our local guides will offer you a lot of local wine and it is called “happy water”)

7:30: You will have home-cooked breakfast provided by Mao’s family.

8:30: Finish breakfast, we will start trekking into different fields which lead to our mysterious Bamboo Forest

11:00: Take your shoes off, we will go to the field!!

It is the most fun and interesting part as you feel like a Farmer to go directly to the soil, feel the earth, smell the rice, and touch the leaves.

You will pass through Su Pan village, see the local life like Schools, Church, Traditional Houses

14:00: Have lunch in a local restaurant, enjoy the mountain view with rice fields in the restaurant.

Finish the Discovery Day in the Bus Office or your hotel in Sapa town 

8:30 – 8:45 Pick up at your hotels in Hanoi Old Quarter. Then transfer to Tuan Chau wharf on the new highway 

10:30 – 11:00 Stopover for refreshment at Pearl store, pearl breeding place about 20 minutes. 

11:30 – 12:00 Arrive at Tuan Chau harbour. 

12:30 – 13:00 Transfer to Cruises. Check in your cabin. 

13:30 Enjoy a nice buffet lunch at our restaurant while the cruise goes ahead to Halong Bay. 

15:00 – 16:45 Continue to explore Halong by visiting Pearl Farm village. Here, you can witness the process of making pearl, buy products from pure pearl, participate in kayaking, a must-try sport activity in Halong. After that, visit Titov Island. Here, you will have time to climb up to the peak of Titov Island, admire the beautiful panorama view of Halong Bay or swim, take pictures, play on the sea. 

18:00: Enjoy Sun Set party with fruits and snacks on Sky Bar. Option: Happy Hour (Buy 2 get 1 free). Massage service is available. 

18:30: Join cooking demonstration: How to make Vietnamese spring rolls – traditional Vietnamese food. 

19:30: Enjoy European set-menu dinner on the restaurant on-board. 

21:00: Join the Squid Fishing activity. Free time on the boat.

6:30: Practice Tai Chi class. Tea and coffee are served. 

6:45 – 7:30: Light breakfast is served. 

7: 30: Visit Sung Sot cave. 

09:30: Check – out time on the board. 

09:45: – 10:30: Enjoy buffet brunch while the cruise transfer to the Tuan Chau Wharf. 

10:45 – 11:00: Disembark to Tuan Chau Wharf.

12:00 – 15:00: Return to Ha Noi.
