07:00 – Our vehicle and tour guide will pick you up at your hotel in the Old Quarter area or at our office. Depart from Hanoi to Pu Luong (180 km – approximately 4 hours). On the way, we’ll stop at Hoa Binh for a 15-minute break.
11:30 – Arrive in Pu Luong, have lunch, and check in to your room for a short rest.
13:30 – Depart for Don Village by motorbike or car to explore the simple and idyllic life of the Thai ethnic people. Enjoy the fresh air and admire the beautiful mountains, forests, and terraced fields. On the way to Hieu Waterfall, visit Lan Ngoai Brocade Craft Village to learn about the local weaving culture. At Hieu Waterfall – a stunning three-tiered cascade – you can take a refreshing swim and enjoy the cool atmosphere.
17:30 – Return to the homestay with your tour guide.
19:00 – Enjoy dinner and free time to relax.
07:00 – Have breakfast at the homestay.
08:00 – Depart from the homestay to visit Bang Village.
Bang Village is surrounded by poetic terraced rice fields — a unique gift bestowed by nature. It is most beautiful during the rice or water-pouring season. Along the way, visitors can explore local villages and experience the daily life and culture of the Thai ethnic people.
In addition to the terraced fields, Bang Village is even more charming thanks to two small streams that run along the trail, leading the way to Kho Muong Nature Reserve — the first village in Pu Luong, located in the Kho Muong Valley.
A fascinating place to explore is Hang Doi (Bat Cave), featuring stunning, untouched stalactites, some uniquely shaped like King Kong and other figures. Many species of bats live here, varying by season.
10:00 – Continue trekking through the high mountains to reach Pon Village, Lung Cao. On the way, stop at a hilltop viewpoint to admire the panoramic beauty of Kho Muong Valley. Along the Pu Luong forest trail, you may encounter groups of monkeys, squirrels, and flocks of colorful birds.
Passing a slightly steep slope, we arrive at Pon Village and then continue to Nua Village via a small path. These three villages — Pon, Nua, and Lung Cao — belong to Lung Cao Commune and are mainly inhabited by the Muong ethnic people.
12:30 – Stop for lunch in a peaceful area or by Nua Stream, where you can also enjoy a refreshing swim.
14:00–14:30 – Continue trekking along the main road of Lung Cao Commune, passing local schools and heading toward the Lung Cao football field.
16:00–16:30 – The vehicle picks up the group at the football field and transfers everyone back to the homestay for rest.
18:30 – Have dinner and enjoy free time at the homestay.
Morning – Wake up early to capture the magical moment when clouds still blanket the beautiful mountains.
07:30 – Have breakfast and then head to Doan Street Weekly Market to buy local specialties and souvenirs (available on Thursdays and Sundays).
Continue to the Cham Stream Tourist Area to admire the giant water wheels and take part in exciting activities such as kayaking or bamboo rafting on the river. Walk about 700 meters to visit Chay Cave, home to beautiful, untouched stalactites — known as the most stunning and deepest cave in Pu Luong. On the way back, you can relax and swim in Cham Stream.
12:00 – Enjoy lunch and take a short rest before departing for Hanoi.
13:00 – The vehicle picks up the group and begins the journey back to Hanoi.
18:30 – Arrive in Hanoi. End of a memorable 3-day-2-night Pu Luong Tour. The vehicle will drop you off at your hotel in the Old Quarter.
