08:30 PM – We will pick you up at your hotel in the Old Quarter or at our office for a comfortable journey on the sleeping bus. (If you choose to travel by train, we can arrange a taxi from our office to the train station for you.)
05:00 – Arrive in Sapa Town. You may continue resting on the bus until 06:00.
For those traveling by train, our guide will be waiting for you at the station with a welcome sign bearing your name.
06:00 – 08:00 – Our local guides will meet you at your drop-off point and take you to a local restaurant for breakfast with the group.
09:00 – 12:00 – Begin trekking along peaceful, less-traveled mountain paths surrounded by rice fields and streams. Visit Sa Seng Village, an untouched H’Mong village where you can witness authentic daily life — feeding buffaloes, tending crops of corn and tea, and enjoying the tranquility of nature. You’ll also pass a beautiful waterfall where you can take photos or even swim if the weather allows.
12:00 – 13:00 – Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant nestled in a lush green valley.
After lunch, your guide will introduce you to the traditional Batik and cloth-making craft of the H’Mong people. Learn how locals create natural indigo dye — a fascinating process that takes several months to achieve the perfect, long-lasting color.
13:00 – 17:00 – Continue trekking to visit local family houses where you’ll discover how hemp fibers are spun and woven into traditional H’Mong fabric. You’ll even have the chance to try filature, an art form typically mastered by elderly H’Mong grandmothers.
Visit another local family to learn Batik drawing techniques, used to create intricate patterns on traditional H’Mong clothing. Try drawing your own designs — it’s not easy, but it’s incredibly fun and rewarding!
In total, you’ll trek around 13–16 km today.
19:00 – Enjoy dinner and a lively “happy hour” with your group. Play fun games, share stories, and taste the local corn wine, affectionately known as “happy water.”
