You can pay 750,000 VND each boat to explore the different shapes and colors of the stalactites inside and check in.
Admire Bac Ban Vang Waterfall (Silver Waterfall)

How to get to Ba Be Lake
Vietnam Ba Be Lake is in Bac Kan Province. And  Bac Kan is in the Northeast, 165 miles from Hanoi. So there are two ways to get from Hanoi to Bac Kan: by following the old National Highway 3 (approximately 3 hours, may be done by motorbike) or by taking the Hanoi-Thai Nguyen highway and then continuing on National Highway 3 (about 2 hours, can only be done by automobile).
There are two ways to get from Bac Kan city to Ba Be lake: take province road 256, which is about 60 km, or provincial road 257 to Cho Don and then continue on to Ba Be, which is about 70 km.
My Dinh bus station in Hanoi is where buses leave. You can pick which bus companies run the Hanoi to Bac Kan or Cao Bang route. These buses regularly go via well-known tourist spots, like Ba Be Lake.
If you are in Ho Chi Minh City, you should fly to Hanoi and then follow the steps above.
Best time to visit Ba Be Lake
There are things to do in Ba Be Lake Vietnam all year round, so tourists can go there any time. From April to October is the rainy season, and from November to February of the next year is the dry season. The temperature is very cold, and in many places it gets down to 0 degrees Celsius, and there may be frost.
The greatest time to go to Ba Be Lake is from February to April, when ba be Lake weather is cool and the temperature is between 25 and 30 degrees. There are many festivities on January 9 and 10 that show off the cultural uniqueness of the ethnic communities in the area.

Numerous hotels and homestays are available near Ba Be Lake. A double room costs between 150,000 and 1.2 million VND. It costs 70,000 to 100,000 VND for each individual to live in community housing.
All of the places to stay around Ba Be Lake are homestays owned by locals, and many of them have balconies or rooms with views of the lake. The amenities here are rather minimal. If guests wish to stay in a place with more amenities, they will have to find a place to stay 1–2 kilometers from the lake, near the entrance to the national park.

This meal is made by mixing fermented shrimp with galangal, garlic, chile, and sticky rice. It is sour, spicy, and very tasty. It is often used as a seasoning for cooked pork or sticky rice.
- Smoked Sausage (Lạp xưởng hun khói)
Pork sausages from the area that are smoked over firewood and seasoned with herbs from the woods. The end result is a sausage that is delicious, a little sweet, and has a strong smokey flavor.
- Watercress (Rau cải xoong)
Watercress (Rau cải xoong) is a fresh, peppery green that grows well in the clear water sources of the Ba Be area. People often stir-fry watercress with garlic or use it in soup for its tasty and healthy flavor.
- Boiled Bamboo Shoots (Măng luộc / Măng rừng)
Boil wild bamboo shoots and serve them with dipping sauce. They have a crisp texture and a slightly bitter taste that is typical of forest food.
- Na Ri Vermicelli (Miến dong Na Rì)
In the Na Ri district, they make a particular kind of vermicelli out of pure canna starch (dong root). It has a chewy, see-through texture and is typically used in soups or stir-fried recipes.
- Stitching (Khâu nhục)
Stitching (Khâu nhục) is a classic meal made with pork belly that is slowly simmered with spices, five-spice powder, and sometimes taro or sweet potatoes. The flesh gets soft and tasty, like it melts in your tongue. This dish is frequently served during ceremonies and festivals.
- Smoked Pork (Thịt lợn hun khói)
The pork is salted and spiced, then hung over the kitchen fire to smoke for a few days. The meat is tough and smells strongly of smoke, which is common for people from the mountains.

Even in the summer, you need a jacket at Ba Be Lake since the air is cold in the morning and at night. You should also carry bug and mosquito spray.
