Sa Pa is a highland town in Vietnam’s Lao Cai Province’s Sa Pa District. It is situated on the slopes of Lo Suong mountain at an elevation of 1500 to 1650 meters. With an elevation of 2228 meters, the peak of this mountain may be seen to the southeast of Sa Pa.

Mui Ne is a beach located in Phan Thiet City, Binh Thuan Province, Vietnam. This is a well-known tourist destination in Binh Thuan province and one of Vietnam’s national tourism destinations. Mui Ne is renowned for its immense dunes, beautiful beaches, and soaring coconut trees surrounding the sea all year round, filled with sunshine.

Mui Ne is now a ward of Phan Thiet City, with a total area of 35.41 km2, a population of 24,275 people in 1999, and a population density of 686 people/km2, and it is establishing a project to upgrade the town of Binh Thuan province. Visitors to Mui Ne are attracted not only by nature’s wild beauty but also by the unique cuisine and hospitality of the kind fishing village people.

Mui Ne has expanded from a stretch of barren coastline with desert-like red dunes located far from the highways, with only a few poor fishing settlements, to hundreds of resorts. Mui Ne lies 22 kilometers northeast of Phan Thiet city center and is linked to this coastal city by two roads: Nguyen Dinh Chieu (road 706) and Vo Nguyen Giap (road 706B), both of which are regarded vital routes for Binh Thuan’s tourism industry. When visiting Mui Ne, travelers will be able to visit Mui Ne fishing village and observe the activities of a fishing hamlet in Vietnam’s pure sea.

Phu Quoc Island and its surrounding islands comprise the Phu Quoc Island district of Kien Giang province. According to land figures from 2005, the island district has a total area of 589.23 km2, which is roughly the size of Singapore in the 1960s when it was not leveled and encroached on the sea.
