Hon Ba Island

Hon Ba Island is a small island also known as Three Bullets Island or Archinard Island. According to Halong road around Small Mountain, from Bai Truoc, through Pineapple Beach to the nose of Nghinh Phong overlooking the sea, visitors see Hon Ba Island lying alone in the middle of the ocean, at the foot of the island, the white foam is very poetic.

On the days of low tide will reveal a rough stone road, and visitors can visit the temple on this road. From the foot of the island up to the temple, there is a winding, winding road built on three concrete steps. Green coconut trees, poplar trees, cau, and porcelain flowers cover the entire island… There is a small shrine on the island called Ba shrine. The temple was built by a central believer named Ho Quang Minh in 1881.

The temple now has a floating height of 4m on the ground, which is the temple of the gods. Below is a 6m long basement 3m wide; Previously, it was a secret meeting place for patriots. Each year, Hon Ba temple organizes 4 rituals, based on the water, including January, April, July, and October (lunar calendar).

To get to Hon Ba, there are two common ways: one is to take a boat or boat when the water is significant, and the other is to walk when the water is pure. Most people still choose the second way: to walk to Hon Ba when the water is shallow to show their sincerity when coming to the temple and experience a new feeling on the way through the sea to the island. If you want to visit Hon Ba and worship by walking, you should go on the 14th -15th of the lunar month; this time, the tide will withdraw.

Vung Tau Lighthouse

The Lighthouse is a cylindrical tower 18 m high, 3 m in diameter and painted white. Inside the Lighthouse are stairs leading to the top of the Lighthouse, and there is a balcony for sightseeing. From this balcony, you can feel the cool breeze from the sea while watching the panoramic view of the beach in front of the coastal city of Vung Tau.

Especially if visitors visit the Lighthouse in the evening will have the opportunity to feel all the beauty of this place. Like the eye of the ocean, the Lighthouse’s bright light diligently signals ships across a vast dark sky. When you look at it, it’s like you’ve found security.

A fortified tunnel connects The Lighthouse to the staff’s living quarters. Surrounding is a campus with decades-old porcelain trees radiating a cool, fragrant shade. Van Phat Quang Pagoda – Da Tong Lam Tu

The pagoda is located in Phu My town, Tan Thanh district, Ba Ria – Vung Tau province, on the left of Highway 51 towards Vung Tau, about 70km from Ho Chi Minh City. The pagoda is run by Thich Thien Hoa Venerable, from Indochina pagoda in Ho Chi Minh City.

Located at a height of nearly 30m from the sea level, from the front of the Bach Dinh Palace looking down, visitors will feel like they are on the floor of a building built on seawater, which can overlook the whole city center of Vung Tau.

There are two ways to get to the Bach Dinh Palace: A curving road runs under a forest of car trees up to the foyer—a walkway through 146 ancient, discreet steps between two rows of old porcelain.

Bach Dinh with European architecture at the end of the 19th century, 19m high, 15m wide, and 28m long, including 3 floors: The basement for cooking, Ground floor is a place to celebrate and decorate some ancient artifacts. The floor is more open for healing.

Over the centuries, with many changes of time, Bach Dinh still retains the elegance, harmony and majesty rarely seen.

Dinh Mountain

Dinh Mountain is located about 15km north of Ba Ria city in Tan Thanh district, is a place of remarkable value convergence with beautiful natural scenery, culture and history and this place is also famous for its fresh and unique atmosphere as the “the second Da Lat of Vietnam.”

Dinh Mountain with harmonious beauty and the waterfall is about 500m high; this is not only known as a simple ecotourism destination, but also many tourists come to explore spiritual tourism and belief.

Binh Chau – Phuoc Buu Nature Reserve

Binh Chau – Phuoc Buu Nature Reserve belongs to the Southern District of Xuyen Moc, Ba Ria – Vung Tau province, with a natural area of more than 10.537 hectares, stretching across 5 communes of Binh Chau, Bung Rieng, Bong Trang, Xuyen Moc, Phuoc Buu. This is the only coastal primeval forest remaining relatively intact in Vietnam.

Located in reserve, there are about 43 km of rivers, lakes, and streams with water all year round; the water surface area varies seasonally, to the northeast, especially Binh Chau hot spring with a temperature of 60-800C; the World Tourism Organization has officially recognized this place as one of 65 sustainable ecotourism areas of 47 countries in the world.

Along the southern side of Binh Chau – Phuoc Buu Nature Reserve, there are 17 km of coastline, gentle water level, and clean, smooth, flat sandy beaches forming natural beaches. Currently, this place has attracted many domestic and foreign companies and businesses to invest and develop many types of ecotourism.

Located in the middle of the vast primeval forest in Xuyen Moc district, Ba Ria – Vung Tau province, Binh Chau Hot Spring Tourist Area has over 70 open water spraying points with abundant mineral mud, and well-invested facilities. This place has become an attractive resort with green space.

Binh Chau’s hot spring area consists of many lakes and small streams. The largest lake area is also the most desirable; the water is always bubbling and smoking like a giant natural steamer. In shallow areas, the water is only about 40oC hot, and the unique is the surrounding melaleuca forest is still lush.

Scientists have recognized the hot spring here as a valuable water source for restoring health. To exploit the benefits of nature, areas for relaxation and healing with hot springs have been formed and are built in harmony between green trees and quiet spaces.
