Ho Chi Minh City: Discover the unique markets

Ho Chi Minh City has countless unique and charming markets, which are typical for the vibrant and bustling atmosphere of the city. Whether you’re looking for standard or rare items like antiques, handmade woodwork, local souvenirs, or even insects for pet food, there’s a market for you. Ignore the already popular route and discover the authentic “jewels” of Ho Chi Minh City by visiting the little-known markets often overlooked by tourists but loved by locals.

Ba Chieu Market, located in Binh Thanh District, is a flea market and an old-fashioned heaven for those looking to buy beautiful products that have long been in trend. Clothing, luggage, accessories, and shoes are among the many options available, each with its own unique design, style, and quality. Digging into the second-hand shops here and finding unique items at highly affordable prices will be an exciting experience you cannot ignore. Ba Chieu Market also has delicious street food that can satisfy visitors’ hunger after hunting and paying the price to get the best bargain.

If traveling to Da Nang, do not forget to organize a picnic or stroll in beautiful parks to experience the most enchanting roads in this green and sustainable city.

In addition to famous destinations in Da Nang, such as My Khe Beach, Ba Na Hills, or Ngu Hanh Son, March 29 Park is also a place you should take advantage of. This “green lung” of the city, located on Dien Bien Phu Street in Thanh Khe District, is well-known among locals for its clean air and romantic beauty. This location also provides tourists with unexpected experiences by offering a variety of exciting activities ideal for all ages, such as dancing, fishing, and visiting the park’s zoo.
