Vietnam Military History Museum is one of six national museums and the first museum of the military museum system, established on July 17, 1956, at 28A Dien Bien Phu Street, Ba Dinh district, Hanoi. The museum is currently displaying and storing thousands of artifacts, including many rare and precious artifacts, especially 04 National Treasures, including Aircraft MIG 21 No. 4324, Aircraft MIG 21 No. 5121, Plate Map of Ho Chi Minh campaign determination, T54B tank number 843.

Air Defense – Air Force Museum is under the Political Department, Air Defense – Air Force Service, formerly known as the Air Defense Army’s Traditional Room, established in 1958. The museum is ranked 2nd in the system of Vietnam Museums. The museum was newly built in 2004, and inaugurated on August 28, 2007, and is a place to store images, documents and artifacts that demonstrate the process of birth, construction, battle, growth and war. The victory of the Air Defense – Vietnam Air Force 73 large-sized artifacts is scientifically displayed outdoors, introducing collections of unique weapon artifacts about the Air Defense – Air Force anti-aircraft artillery, radar, air force, missile.

Weapons that have achieved many outstanding feats: the 37 mm cannon of To Vinh Dien battery participating in the Dien Bien Phu Campaign; the journey of the US-made 90 mm cannon participating in the first battle victory on August 5, 1964; Radar broadcast management of the sky by electromagnetic waves, during the 12 days and night campaign in 1972, the signal of the B-52 strategic aircraft was detected 35 minutes early to notify the Hanoi army and people to prepare for battle; The rocket launcher shot down the first B-52 aircraft in the “Hanoi – Dien Bien Phu in the air” Campaign in December 1972; A MiG-21 shot down a B-52 on the night of December 27, 1972.

In addition, the artifact collections also include MiG-17, MiG-19, MiG-21 aircraft, transport helicopters, anti-submarine hunting helicopters and several attack aircraft obtained from My Wei, including A-37 aircraft, Quyet Thang Squadron used to bomb Tan Son Nhat airport, contributing to victory in the historic Ho Chi Minh Campaign…; several weapons and means that the enemy used in the Vietnam War.

The People’s Public Security Museum is a place to store and preserve nearly 20,000 artifacts about the traditional history of fighting, construction and development of the Vietnam People’s Public Security, in which, the museum display system has introduced many new features. introduced nearly 2,000 artifacts. Born in the August Revolution in 1945, under the leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam and President Ho Chi Minh, inheriting and promoting the fine tradition of the nation, the People’s Public Security Forces constantly grew, established many achievements in making great contributions to the revolutionary cause of national liberation, building and defending the socialist Vietnamese Fatherland. That glorious and heroic tradition of the Vietnamese People’s Police is a great and extremely valuable material and spiritual asset of the People’s Police force and of the entire Party, army and people in the cause of security protection. The security and order of the Fatherland should be preserved, inherited and promoted from generation to generation.

Stemming from that meaning, to recognize the great merits of generations of police officers and soldiers, long-term preservation of historical images, documents and artifacts about the police force, do good traditional education, fostering revolutionary knowledge and sentiments for generations of police officers and soldiers, serving immediate and long-term political requirements, the construction of a museum of the People’s Police force has been directed and prepared by the leadership of the Ministry of Home Affairs (now the Ministry of Public Security) for many years.

Vietnam Revolution Museum is a place to recreate the history of the Vietnamese people’s hundreds of years of struggle against the French, Japanese, the US, against feudalism, to regain independence, freedom and democracy for Vietnam.
