Niet Ban Tinh Xa

This is one of Vung Tau’s most stunning pagodas, featuring modern architectural lines. The pagoda “Niet Ban Tinh XaTinh Xa” also known as the “Reclining Buddha” pagoda was built on the slopes of a Small mountain, facing the sea. The pagoda was built in 1969 and dedicated in 1974 thanks to Buddhist donations. Venerable Thich Thien Hue represented the construction.

Quan The Am Temple

This is a small temple that stands out with a 16m high white statue of Lady Quan Am facing the sea, standing on a lotus, holding a Cam Lo vase, with a gentle and virtuous face.

Linh Son Co Tu is the oldest temple in Vung Tau, despite its small size. In the main hall, there is a 1.2m high Buddha statue made of gilded stone which is skillfully sculpted to create a compassionate and lively look on the Buddha’s face.

Vung Tau Lighthouse

Coming here, after following the tunnel built solidly in the two-story house which was the residence and living place of the lighthouse keepers, you will reach the top of the tower. Ong Tran Temple

Long Son Big House or Ong Tran Temple is an ancient architectural art complex, made of bricks and tiles and precious woods located in village 5, with a total area of ​​about 2 hectares, divided into three areas: temple church, synagogue, school, market, Ghe Sam conservation house and Mr. Tran’s tomb area.

Hon Ba is a little island where the waves hit white foam extremely poetically at the foot of the island, located outside the sea along Ha Long road around Nho mountain, from Front Beach to Pineapple Beach to Nghinh Phong cape. Hon Ba is around 200 meters from the foot of Nho Mountain. Mr. Ho Quang Minh, originating from Central Vietnam, invested money in 1881 to construct a tiny shrine on the island of Mieu Ba.

At low tide, a rough trail leads to the island. On the full moon or the first day, people often go to the island in large numbers to burn incense and pray for good luck at this small temple.

Nghinh Ong Festival (Fishing Festival)

This is the largest water event in Vung Tau. The festival is held every year for 4 days, from February 17-20 of the lunar calendar. Ba Ngu Hanh Temple Festival is held annually on the 16th, 17th and 18th of the 10th lunar month at Ba Ngu Hanh Temple, Vung Tau city. The festival is solemnly held with solemn rituals and folk games, attracting a large number of people and tourists to offer incense and worship.
