Transportation

How to travel to Sa Dec: Sa Dec Flower Village is only about 140 km from Saigon with nearly 3 hours by car, you can move here by motorbike or bus. Cars from Saigon to Sa Dec leave the station every hour, so you don’t need to worry about the time the car runs. The reputable bus companies are Phuong Trang, Phu Vinh Long, Loc Dien, etc. The average fare is from 80,000 VND to 105,000 VND.

Located right on the banks of the Sa Giang River, Huynh Thuy Le Ancient House serves as a polite witness to the beautiful love story of the Vietnamese-Chinese prince Huynh Thuy Le and the French writer Marguerite Duras.

The house was built in 1895 and restored in 1917. Huynh Thuy Le ancient house looks like a French villa on the outside, but inside it has a unique Chinese architectural design, showing the intersection. culturally evident since the early 20th century.

Only about 14 km from Sa Dec city, Phuoc Kien Tu – Lotus Pagoda has long been famous for its huge lotus leaf-filled ponds with a diameter of 2-3 m. These lotus leaves are enough to support 1-2 adults without any problems. Unfortunately, when I visited, the temple was rebuilding the bridge, so I couldn’t get close to the giant lotus leaves.

Nam Phuong Linh Tu

Dubbed the ancient capital of Hue in the middle of the Western garden. With dignified royal architecture, imbued with national identity, Nam Phuong Linh Tu is a place that attracts many young people to come here to take pictures, giving birth to beautiful spring photos.

Currently, Nam Phuong Linh Tu has been planned for tourism development and outside the temple area, there are many garden activities such as canoeing, enjoying Southern folk songs, Southern specialties, etc. sold tickets with a ticket price of 50,000 VND / turn. With a location only 15 km from Sa Dec, you only need half a day to visit this area.

Silkworm cake:: Banh Tam Bi Sa Dec, 49B Phan Boi Chau, Ward 1, Sa Dec City is my favorite restaurant.

Sa Dec Flour Village Food Court: Here, in addition to western folk dishes, there is also a buffet of folk cakes of all kinds with a ticket price of only 50,000 VND/serving.
