Rveryone in Vietnam knows the name “Nha Rong Harbor” because this place is a historical relic with a solid national mark. On June 5, 1911, young man Nguyen Tat Thanh arrived at Nha Rong harbor, boarded the ship Amiral Latouche Tréville and officially set out to find a way to save the country so that 30 years later, he would return and lead the Vietnamese people to fight. Liberate the nation, gain independence and freedom for the Fatherland and homeland.

This commercial port is located on the Saigon River near Khanh Hoi Bridge and was built in 1864 near Khanh Hoi Bridge. Located right at the gateway to the busiest commercial port in the country, in front of the windy Bach Dang River, the entire harbor is the place that contributes to making the City more sparkling and splendid when the Ho Chi Minh City lights up.

According to ancient Vietnamese architecture, the building has a pair of dragons mounted on the roof facing the moon. It is often called the Dragon House.

This place was built in 1863 and used by the French as the Saigon commercial port headquarters. It was here that during the years of resistance against the French and Americans, the Ho Chi Minh City people organized protests and strikes to protest against the colonial government and its henchmen. After many years, although it has been renovated according to Western architectural style, it has yet to obscure its ancient appearance.

Nha Rong Harbor is currently the Ho Chi Minh Museum – one of the branches in the system of Ho Chi Minh Museums and memorial relics throughout the country with 3 galleries (250m2). After two renovations ( 1990, 1995), at this time, it had 09 rooms with 1482.62m2 of display area; 02 warehouses preserve 10,927 documents, artifacts, and hundreds of artifacts on outdoor display.

The Museum is a place that regularly organizes widespread educational propaganda activities such as scientific conferences, intergenerational discussions, topical talks on President Ho Chi Minh, introductions, and screenings of private films. Documents, memoirs, publications about President Ho Chi Minh and the Museum, printing calendars, organizing admission to the Party, Youth Union, and Team; Organizing competitions to learn about the biography and revolutionary career of President Ho Chi Minh…, the Museum is also an ideal meeting place for organizations and unions to participate in traditional activities and study. , play; is the venue for the launching ceremonies of many of the City’s vibrant mass movements. Today, the city government. Ho Chi Minh is increasingly trying to display and renovate museums more vividly and richly to attract domestic and foreign tourists.

This is one of the pagodas recognized as a Ho Chi Minh historical relic in 2015 and is located at 870 Truong Sa, Ward 14, District 3. During Buddha’s Birthday, the temple grounds are covered with colorful, brilliant, sparkling lanterns.
