It is the connection between Da Lat – the city of thousands of flowers, and Nha Trang – a sunny and windy coastal city. This road, with sections over 1500 meters high and dozens of large and small waterfalls, is a familiar backpacking road for many young people. If you depart from Da Lat at 5 a.m., you can fully enjoy the view of the sun’s shining golden rays through the white mist.

However, note that this road has many thick fogs and narrow corners. You shouldn’t try to hold the wheel if you can’t.

Prenn Pass is the gateway to the city of thousands of flowers, you can easily see the scenery on one side of the cliff on the other side of the valley with pine forests, hidden flowers and grasses when riding. This location is also great in the morning. But at the same time, this pass is also one of the dangerous roads for young or inexperienced drivers because of the minor road and many large passenger cars and trucks.

Prenn Falls

Located near the Prenn Pass area, it was a favorite destination for many visitors. Today, although no longer comparable in scale, this is still the natural “welcome gate” of Da Lat and is visited by many tourists.

Here are some advices for visitors to have a fantastic trip to Da Lat

You should go to Dalat in the low season to limit the crowded situation and the expensive cost. Because on regular occasions, you will have more options to stay than during the Tet holidays. Because of these specials, rooms in Da Lat are always run out and the team’s price is very high compared to regular days. You can find most of the big guys in the hotel industry in Da Lat: Muong Thanh, Pullman, Intercontinental… and the price for these 5-star hotels from 100 USD/night. If you choose a high-class room around Xuan Huong Lake and near Da Lat market, the price ranges from 400 to 1 million VND for a room with a balcony overlooking the lake or a good view. For self-contained rooms just for resting, the price ranges from 150,000 to 300,000 for a single bedroom.

The best self-sufficient Da Lat travel experience is to avoid the flower festival season and spring (December to March next year). Therefore, if you want to rest and enjoy the quiet atmosphere, you should not go to Dalat on weekends and Tet holidays.
