Located in Bai But the area, Son Tra peninsula, Son Tra district, Da Nang city, Linh Ung Pagoda on Son Tra peninsula is about 10km north of the city center. The unique feature of this place is that the temple is located in the middle of the mountain and when viewed from afar, the shape of Linh Ung Son Tra Pagoda resembles a turtle. The front of the temple faces the vast sea, and the back leans against the cliff with a vast and immense primeval forest.

The way to Linh Ung Son Tra Pagoda is also quite simple, there are not many twisty roads. You can choose 1 of the following 2 routes to move.

If you come from the airport or the city center, you go to Duy Tan street. When you reach the roundabout, turn left onto Trung Nu Vuong Street, run towards the Dragon Bridge. After crossing the bridge, you go to the end of Vo Van Kiet street and then turn left onto Vo Nguyen Giap street. Continue going straight on Hoang Sa Street. Just like that, you will see Linh Ung Bai But pagoda.

If you choose to move from the city center bus station, turn left onto To Hieu Street. Run straight all this way, you turn right onto Phung Hung street to go to Nguyen Tat Thanh street. Continue to turn left and then cross Thuan Phuoc bridge. Go straight like that to Le Duc Tho street, then turn left onto Hoang Sa street. Run to the end of the road, look on the left-hand side, you will see the temple.

Although not the first Linh Ung pagoda in Da Nang, Linh Ung pagoda on Son Tra peninsula owns the largest area in the “Tam Ung Linh Tu”. Construction started in 2004, but it was not until 6 years later, ie in 2010, that Linh Ung Son Tra Pagoda was officially completed.

Linh Ung Bai But Pagoda has an area of ​​​​more than 20 hectares, owns many large items in the temple, such as Post-Ancestor, Lecture Hall, phoenix, guest house, monks, Bodhisattva statue, … and several works as small as Lumbini garden, Loc Uyen garden, etc.

The items at the temple are designed in a sophisticated way to every detail. Specifically, in the roof of the main hall is roofed with curved tiles, the point of which is the flying dragon detail. Surrounded by large, very solid columns. In turn, 3 large statues of Bodhisattva Avalokitesvara are placed on the right of the main hall, Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva on the left and Shakyamuni in the middle are also carved very vividly and impressively.

In addition, when visiting the main hall, you can also admire the beauty of the four statues of the four bodies of the Dharma Protector and the 18 Arhats.

The biggest feature, leaving a deep impression on the hearts of tourists visiting this Linh Ung pagoda in Da Nang, it is impossible not to mention is the statue of Quan The Am Buddha with a height of 47m, a diameter of 35m all lotuses. UNESCO recognized the tallest statue of Avalokitesvara in Southeast Asia.
